Opis
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush, adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products. May be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compability Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. One of the colors in the three-color variant of the so-called Hill Grey scheme applied to USAF F-16s from the late 1970s until the early 1990s. The same scheme was/is also carried by early F-16s of several NATO countries with Denmark and Norway being notable exceptions. One of the colors in the two-color variant of the so-called Hill Grey scheme applied to USAF F-4C/D/E/Gs from the late 1970s until their withdrawal from service and to USAF F-16s from the early 1990s. Overall color of USAF F-15E Strike Eagle strike fighters from 1988 until today. Overall color of USAF strategic bombers (B-1, B-2, B-52) from the early 1990s until today. Initially used as one of the camouflage colors in the Euro One scheme applied to USAF TAC aircraft (except A-7s) in the 1980s. Upper surface color of USMC AV-8B Harrier II fleet from the early 1990s. One of the colors used in the so-called Ferris Scheme evaluated by the US Navy in 1976. One of the upper surface colors in the camouflage schemes applied to MiG-29s of the Polish Air Force since the end of 1997. Also used in some USAF (F-16C) and US Navy/USMC (F/A-18B) aggressor schemes.
